ARTIST: Crazy Titch

TITLE: Singalong

LABEL: In the Hood Recordings

CAT: ?

5/5

East Londons Crazy Itch returns with another vocal masterpiece, this time riding along one of the most interesting pieces from the vocal grime scene. With deep gut wrenching bass lines the last thing you expect to hear are the delicate orchestral rhythms in place. A clash and harmony at the same time which really grabs your mind. D

TITLE: Dead Letter Drop

LABEL: white

A very sneaky little number here. More towards the 8 bar-ish grime, lots and lots of rolling breaks that just continue to stack throughout. Old school samples and a blatant Drexcyia sample that really takes the track to another level. These will be hard to find, but it really is worth scouring the planet for.

Artist: Dj Maxximus

Title: Destiny

Label: ?

Cat no. ?

Marks: 4/5

German based Dj Maxximus returns with more bass antics in the shape of ‘Destiny’.

The track kicks off with ragga vocal pinches backed up by tight skipping electro beats.  Then out of no where comes a roaring hoover nose-bleed of a bassline.  The flip is the same tune but fetures no beats but does have plenty angry bass stabs and low-end sub punches.

Artist: Dj Maxximus and MC Soomt

Title: Reason

Label: ?

Cat no. ?

Marks: 4/5

Another fresh slab of bass heavy bouncers from the one like Dj Maxximus.  The beats are on a simple electro grime ragga tip and the squashy bassline sounds like an angry swarm of South-American killer bees.  This all sits nicely under the sublime but moody chatting of MC Soomt. Quality tracks - keep ‘em coming Maxximus.
